Jessica Peterson, CEO

Jessica is the perfect combination of head and heart. She can analyze numbers with ease, but her empathy for people will always be stronger. Growing up with an entrepreneur father and mentor, Jessica learned at an early age how to manage both sides of the coin--money, finance; marketing, customer service so she learned firsthand what it would take to succeed as a start-up company owner herself someday.

After being an Airman (E3) in the US Navy, she had to change her career paths due to medical issues. With a bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA with focus on Finance and Marketing, this woman knows how best for you spend your money!

Jessica is a serial entrepreneur that has not only owned and managed her own businesses, but also has helped other small businesses grow to new levels. She spent most of her career in leadership and executive accounting roles for many different industries including hospitality and gaming.

Jessica has been working in the financial industry for 18 years. However, she is also an artist and web designer on the side. She loves to create digital art as well as designing websites and content. Jessica built her first e-commerce website back in 2000 by teaching herself how to write HTML and scripts using a book from Barnes & Noble's shelf! Since then, she has been building SEO optimized websites, managing social media and copywriting advertisements on the side for her clients – just for fun!

After 18 years in finance, she decided to open her first digital marketing agency based out of Chico, CA because it's what really makes her happy. This has allowed her to finally do the work that was most important for businesses and give herself a creative outlet without all of those stringent financial rules and guidelines from accounting authorities.

Her leadership roles in various industries, such as nonprofits, tribal government, medical, and hospitality, have given her a wealth of experience and knowledge.

For the past two decades, Jessica has been a force in the financial and marketing sectors. But here's the fun part - did you know she's also a talented artist and web designer? She's been creating stunning digital art, videos, and websites, all while mastering the art of search engine optimization. In fact, she built her very first e-commerce website back in 2000, armed with just a book from Barnes & Noble's shelf and a lot of determination.

After dedicating 18 years to finance, Jessica made a bold decision. She opened her own digital marketing agency in Chico, CA, where she could finally pursue her true passion. This allowed her to provide invaluable services to businesses, all while giving her the creative outlet she craved. Her results have been nothing short of outstanding, with clients calling her their "SEO Golden Girl" due to her incredible success. In recognition of her dedication and integrity, the Northern California BBB has appointed Jessica and her agency, Peterson SEO, as their local BBB Ambassador.

Kirstin Donahue, Project Manager & Website Designer

Kirstin is a mother of two and the perfect combination head-heart. She's empathetic, which clients love because she can cater to their individual needs so well! Plus they admire how quickly Kirstin manages projects with ease - not an easy task when you're juggling family life alongside your professional commitments like working part-time for a specialty clinic and at our company full time (you know what I mean!).

Kirstin is a tenacious project manager with extensive experience in the medical industry. As a project manager in our Medical / Chiropractic Marketing division, Kirstin has helped us fulfill projects for clients who want their website design and marketing needs tailored to specific requirements or desired outcomes.

She brings 10 years of valuable experience from working with doctors at different practices - both general practice as well as specialty ones such as orthopedic/vascular surgeons which is invaluable when it comes to helping our clients with their website design projects. She understands how things get done on both sides - patient side as well as doctor/provider side! With this knowledge she can produce results that meet specific needs while maintaining a certain feel for clients throughout all stages of development- from brainstorming ideas through final launch.

With an impressive fifteen years in the semiconductor/electronics industry and a dedication to top-notch customer service, Joshua decided to pursue his true passion for create positive change and greater fulfillment - so he created Spark SEO in 2022! His ambition hasn't stopped there though - in 2023, Joshua joined forces with Peterson SEO to bring even more valuable services to New Mexico. He truly believes that with well-crafted custom marketing solutions, small businesses can grow and reach heights they never dreamed possible.

Katelyn Dobbs, Artist & Social Media Manager

Katelyn is an aspiring artist, mother and military wife who found her inspiration in her childhood church. She would often be consumed by the artist on display there, wishing her art could be displayed their one day. Katelyn is a self-taught artist who started in elementary school. She learned how to draw and paint, but her favorite mediums are colored pencil drawings that look like photographs!

Katelyn is not only an artist, but she's also fluent in social media. Her love for art and social media is an intriguing combination that has lead to her involvement in various platforms. From YouTube videos, Facebook posts or Instagram Stories - Katelyn does them all! Her passion inspires creativity not only as a content creator but also when it comes time to work with the algorithms on these sites so you can reach more people than ever before.

Nicole Link, Marketing Specialist

Nicole has a decade of experience working in Silicon Valley, and she's been around startups for the majority of that time. She is no stranger to hard work, dedication and success - she knows how to get things done! Nicole has helped numerous companies grow and develop at an executive level; some may be familiar with Credit Sesame.

She also had a successful career in medical practice management before making the switch to tech. In both fields, Nicole left her mark by helping drive private practices into profitability while also creating positive change in the lives of others.

Now based out of Austin, TX as our Operations Lead, Nicole is ready to put her skills back into action once again - this time helping your business thrive!
